Nairobi, like most other cities, is that literal common ground. A place where everyone gets into with the hope of becoming something better – in most cases one (seemingly) has it figured out. Once in a while though, you meet a teacher who had hoped to be an engineer, a lady who just landed a contract worth a few millions, a student who always thought they would have graduated three years ago, a drunk who chased deep vein thrombosis longer than they had hoped…
Such is Nairobi. Chaotic, if I may, but calming at the same time.
You know how it feels when you make a confession? That’s how saying you love Nairobi feels like -to the recipients’ ears at least. There is so much that can be said about this African city. How better than through some aerial view pictures. These will hopefully make you visit Nairobi in case you haven’t already done that. It will also make those who have been there, probably, fall in love again with this amazing city. Seriously this is one of the most dynamic cities there is – I doubt we have one that has a national park just in the middle of town!
For me, it’s always a war between text and images. I have so much to say about any image. At the same time, I know the power of allowing an image speak for itself – exactly what I’ve done here. Whatever way you look at it, I hope it resonates directly with your wanderlust spirit!
Cheers to never looking backwards!
